Very well said. It just goes to show the powerful, overly-dominating effect that greed for power and profits have over such politicians......such that they're willing to either justify or ignore such brutality and treatment of innocent people, as seen is current conflicts and wars raging today.

Love this article - the Middle East won’t see peace until we start seeing Muslims as humans rather than some weird violent subspecies who, to quote from Shapiro, ‘love to bomb things and live in open sewers’ - of course, missing the irony that the West was living in open sewers during the Islamic Golden Age and then have been bombing the Middle East for the best part of 100 years...the behaviour of the British and the French in the aftermath of WWI and the refusal to give sovereignty to the Arabs under the Hashemites was a shameful decision, one of many that needs to be part of our wider public consciousness so we can move forward and stop talking about the problem and start being part of the solution
